In the marketing industry there are many perks to the job - meeting interesting people, going interesting places, taking part in special events and so on...
For those of you not aware of it, we here at PRowl are the driving force behind Connecting Niagara, a web and social platform dedicated to bringing people, business and the community together. And while this is very time consuming, we love our role as a Niagara Ambassador and the fun perks that come with it!
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting with Jason Pizzicarola of Brimstone Brewery for an interview and beer tasting as well. All part of a contest we are running on Connecting Niagara. We can tell you, it was a little weird being in a refurbished church in Ridgeway, now called Brimstone. All the same, once inside, other than the relic crosses adorning the interior of the brewery as part of the Brimstone brand, it was nothing church-like - just happy people brewing and getting set to open for the day. The beer was awesome by the way... visit www.connectingniagara.com early next week for the full story on the brewery.
Oh, we wouldn't be doing our job, if we didn't tell you about the contest - The Great Niagara Craft Brewery Tour Contest. An all-day event for one lucky winner and a guest. The winner will be picked up by Regional Limousine and delivered to Brimstone Brewery for tastings, a tour and lunch. They will then be whisked away to Oast Brew House in Niagara-on-the-lake for a tasting and tour. Next stop, Kame and Kettle Beer Works in Fonthill and finally ending the day at Iggy's Pub and Grub for dinner. Niagara's Designated Drivers will get everyone home the responsible way and safe and sound. The whole day will be documented by Lev8 Low Level Aerial Photography.
